This quick post is to let you know that there is a bug in KLog preventing the hamlib data to reach the user interface.
I am already working on the fix and I hope it will be fixed soon.
The bug is being managed here.
I am publishing this as several users are contacting with the report.

Jan 2022 - 1.8.6
- Bugfix: Net rig & FLRig hamlib connections were not working propertly. (Closes #339) (TNX W5PNY)

Time again for bugfixes… KLog has several known bugfixes and we are using some time to try to correct them all.
I will try not to release KLog 1.9 until I have cleared most of the bugs I have still pending to be fixed.

After receiving some comments and questions about how to compile KLog against Qt versions previous than 5.15.2 I decided to release a version that can be compiled with previous versions of Qt.
It also fixes some bugs and includes the release 1.8.2 that was only available for the Telegram groups users p
Anyway, the bug is fixed and here you have a new release 🙂

Just some hours after releasing KLog 1.8, I received the first bug warning for some users (Thank you!).
It was not a serious bug, no data was lost, but data was not being shown due to an error with the latest update regarding the log view widget.
Anyway, the bug is fixed and here you have a new release 🙂

This release of KLog brings the many times requested feature Dark Mode (by EA5WA).
Juan Carlos (EA5WA) worked a lot to allow us to use the Dark Mode also in KLog.
You can check the wiki for the instructions to switch KLog to the dark mode.
KLog has also some bugfixes and improvements, like the Grids and DXCC per band new statistics that will be useful for grid and DXCC hunters.

KLog is bringing this release what it seems small but is big 🙂
It brings the possibility to add ALL the ADIF fields in the near future to the main user interface, something that was not possible up to now.
For this release we have included just the SOTA_REF, MY_SOTA_REF, MY_RIG, MY_ANTENNA and AGE but most of the still not in the main interface ADIF fields wil be added soon.
However the Changelog brings more things:

Some weeks ago Savannah.gnu.org decided to remove the full KLog project.
I lost some information like the mailing lists.
The main lost was not the archive, as the KLog mailing list was old but not very active but the trust I had in the savannah.gnu.org support to free software as it is not the case… anyway…
I have created a list on Groups.io for KLog.
